When is Jesus is coming back? The End Times

A man recently asked, "As an evangelist, do you ever think that you will run out of business?  I laughed and told him, "That will never be our problem, "since all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23).

Peter so vividly reminds us, "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12; Ex. 20:4-3). God knew that if He gave us more than one God, we would choose the wrong one. Even with just the one God, most people still choose wrongly (Col. 1:15). On the Day of Pentecost, Peter said, "it shall be that whoever calls on the name of the LORD (Jesus) shall be saved" (Acts 2:21; Joel 2:28).

Jesus prophesied about all of the storms, earthquakes, famines, weather conditions, economic failures, wars  and disasters we are experiencing today. He said, "And when you hear of wars and rumours of wars; sees that you are not alarmed ;for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs" (Matt. 24:6-8).

Jesus warns us about "tribulation" that will cause many believers to fall away, (Matt. 24:9) and about the false prophets who will lead people astray (Matt. 24:11). "Most men's love (agape) will grow cold" (Matt. 24:12). "But he who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13)

And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come (Matt. 24:14). Through the eyes of Jesus, everything that is happening today is right on schedule according to God's plan; just like labour pains of a woman having a baby (Jn. 16:21). We are living in first of the "labour pains" in creation. " We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time" (Rom. 8:22).

Our Heavenly Father wants more people to be saved - He doesn't like "excuses" (Lk. 14:18-21) regardless of how important they seem. Our excuses ensure that we will NOT get into the "Great Wedding Banquet" (Matthew 22). Jesus directs his disciples to witness to others as an important part of their daily lives.

"But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ 19 And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’ 20 Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’ 21 So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind." (Lk. 14:18-21).

"Go out to the highways and the hedges, and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. (Lk. 14:23).

We don't need to worry or be anxious (Matt. 6:25-34). Only our Heavenly Father knows when Jesus is coming back. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. (Matt. 24:36).
