REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS
“THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FOR TODAY!" (HEB. 13:8)
A fifty year old woman once came to me and said, “I wanted to go to another church to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit 'cause my Pastor said it was not for today.” “Your Pastor is wrong!" I answered. Peter had said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). She listened and remained silent, unsure of what to say next. Several minutes went by then I asked her, "Are you ready to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues?" "Yes please," she answered. She prayed along with me as I led in prayer. Within minutes she spoke out in her new tongues language - it was fluent and came out easily. Later she came to me and confessed that her Pastor was wrong! I agreed, and suggested that she make a change to a new Pastor who believes the scripture: Mark 16:15-17. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8).

"FISHING FOR JESUS IS EXCITING!” (MK. 16:15-18; MATT. 28:19-20; ACTS 2:38)
Jesus' first disciples were fishermen, and He found them as He walked along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The first two were brothers, one Simon (called Peter) and the other Andrew. Jesus' offer was one that they couldn’t refuse: “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt. 4:19-20). This meant fishing for "people fish" - all men, women and children regardless of age, race or sex. It was a similar invitation Jesus gave me along with His promise: "If you will come and work for me, I will supply all of your needs according to my riches in glory” (Phil. 4:19). There's a church located on the highway south of where we live that once had a sign that read, “Gone Fishing. See you back in September.” Sadly, they had abandoned their ministry at a time when people are desperately looking for a church where "the signs, wonders and miracles" were happening. There was no "people fishing" at that church that summer!

Fishing for Jesus is an exciting 24 hour and 365 day work experience. When we make ourselves available, Jesus will use us anytime of the day for ministry. It’s the same for everyone who says yes, and agrees to work for Jesus. His Gospel is our net or bait which offers forgiveness of sin, Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and a reservation in the New Jerusalem (Heaven).

With your prayer and financial help, we minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ all year around. When you support our ministry, you are a member of Jesus’ crew, and you'll receive your heavenly credit for each person you've ministered to. It's you, our Partners who care for the lost fish and sheep. Remember when some of Jesus disciples were abandoning Him, Peter said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You alone have the words of eternal life” (Jn. 6:68). We who are Jesus’ fishermen (and fisher women), have authorized fishing permits to harvest all season long for the lost, sick and needy!

Gordon will be fishing with Jesus for many years to come. He continues to receive countless invitations, and because of your financial help, he does not charge fees to the churches or ministries that invite him, regardless of their size or location. We urge you to send a love offering or financial gift to allow Gordon to continue to accept invitations as he is led by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is moving in our midst! Please pray and continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7), asking Jesus how you can contribute.

To help Gordon accomplish this great task, donations can be made by credit card through our secured PayPal page which is found on our website at www.gordwilliams.com/donate-rev-gordon-williams.php.  Income tax receipts are sent out at the end of each tax year. Thank you for helping Gordon to fulfill Jesus' Great Banquet!

“LOOKING AFTER ALL THE NEEDS OF THIS LIFE” (PHILIP. 4:4-19)
Many people complain that God doesn’t answer their prayers. James tells us, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly to spend it on your passions” (Jas. 4:2–3). Selfish requests fall on deaf ears. But real needs never fall on deaf ears when we pray. Jesus shares the parable about a widow who came to a judge constantly, night and day, asking him to help her to deal with her enemies (Lk. 18:1-8). He moves him to act on her behalf. That’s what our God is like. Jesus says, “And will not God act on behalf of His elect (Lk. 18:7) who cry upon Him day and night?" Of course He will! We are to "rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thess. 5:16-18), and our God will always meet our needs "according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philip. 4:19).

This is the reason why we invite you to send in your needs: personal, family, friends, acquaintances, business, church and health needs so we can pray for you. If you need prayer, please email your prayer requests or by posting to our "Facebook Prayer Group Page".

And when Jesus has met your needs, please let us know so we can praise Him along with you and "give thanks with a grateful heart!” We invite you to send in your praise reports and testimonies in a "Thank You Jesus Report." This way many others can be encouraged and be ministered to as well (Rev 12:11). Email your praise reports online through our web page. Jesus still does, "signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will” (Heb. 2:4). He wants to supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philip. 4:19).

"TWO MIRACLES - ONE FAMILY!” (HEB. 2:4)
At a meeting in Millet, Alberta, a man in his mid-sixties, who had difficulty walking, came forward for prayer. He revealed that he contracted AIDS during surgery from a dirty needle. I asked him, “Have you ever received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?” He replied, “Yes, about sixteen years ago, but I lost my tongues. The devil told me that I could never get my tongues back so I was afraid to even try.” I remarked, “What does the devil know? He is a deceiver and he lied to you. “When he speaks, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies” (Jn. 8:44).

We prayed asking Jesus to “stir up the Gift of tongues" (2 Tim. 1:6–7) that he had received before he got sick. As we prayed together, he began to speak in his tongues language once more. I reminded him that Jesus is the Great Physician, and he can heal AIDS. I laid hands on him (Mk. 16:17-18), and prayed for his miracle healing. Moments later, I noticed that the man's fear had vanished as he continued to pray in his tongues language. A few weeks later, he came to see me testifying that his doctor retested him and he no longer had AIDS! We rejoiced together for his healing, thanking Jesus for His mercy and grace. Then I turned to his wife and asked if she would like to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit too. She agreed, and through her tears we prayed together where she received her tongues as well. Her husband rejoiced in his miracle healing, and that he no longer had to walk with a cane! His sorrow was replaced with “the joy of the Lord" (Neh. 8:10). Praise the Lord!
