REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS
"FOUR FRIENDS RECEIVED THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” (ACTS 2:4; IS. 28:13)
At a meeting in Peterborough, ON, four men in their 20's who came to the meeting together came for prayer when I gave the altar call.
"THE LADY GAINED TIME TODAY!” (PSALM 103:5)
In East End, SK,1 when the Pastor was John Koester, an elderly lady, assisted with a walker, came for prayer. She said, "I have come today because I have wanted the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for many years and I never came for prayer. I’m running out of time.” I said, "Well, you are going to gain time today! We prayed and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and she began to speak in her new tongues language (Acts 19: 6). And, then, we prayed for healing of arthritis (Mk. 16:18). She remarked, as she left the church, "I have never felt so well! Thanks, to Jesus!”
"ALL SHE COULD SAY WAS, ‘AMAZING!’”
At a meeting in Saskatoon, SK, a woman in her 40's explained: "I came to be Baptized with the Holy Spirit so I can speak in tongues and have the Holy Spirit show me God’s Plan. I’m a Christian already!” I said, "No problem! We prayed and immediately she began to enthusiastically speak in tongues (Acts 2: 4).
"GOD’S BLESSING IS THE HOLY SPIRIT” (MATT. 5:11)
At Life Spring Church in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, a 12 year old girl explained, "I want God’s blessing so I can be healthy and serve Him.” I explained, "In order to have His blessing and be healthy and serve Him, you need to receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues.” She winced! I said, "The Holy Spirit is a lot of fun. You don’t need to worry about Him.” So, she agreed. We prayed and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fell to the floor speaking in her new tongues language” (Mk. 16: 17).
"INITIAL PROOF OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS SPEAKING IN TONGUES” (ACTS 2:4)
The girl’s mom who had escorted her to come for prayer said, "I think that I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit a few years ago. But, I want to be sure.” I asked, "Did you speak in tongues?” She replied, "I think so.” I asked her to speak in tongues and she did. I remarked, "That’s as real as the Holy Spirit can be!” I then gave her the interpretation of what she had said and instructed her to pray in tongues every time after she prayed in English and she would get the Holy Spirit’s guidance every day (Eph. 6: 18).
"MINISTRY IS WHERE EVER YOU FIND IT” (ACTS 1: 8)
While I was in Quito, Ecuador, my friend and interpreter, Rodrigo Garcia and I went for lunch in a restaurant in a shopping mall. When we were getting off the escalator on our way out, we met a 60 year old woman who recognized us. She had been in a meeting earlier that week where we were doing ministry. She had wanted to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but she had to leave for work before the ministry time. She was planning to come to the meeting that night. I asked her, "Would you like to receive the Holy Spirit right now?” She thought about it and with tears in her eyes she said, "Si! Si!’ (Yes! Yes!). We stepped off to the side of the mall and prayed with her to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. And, quietly she easily began to speak in tongues (Acts 19: 6). She walked away with the joy of the Lord (Neh. 8: 10). I said to her, "Whoever would have thought that we would meet in a mall so you could receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues?”
"MINISTRY IN TIM HORTON’S RESTAURANT” (ACTS 1:8)
A Tyndale Seminary Student was referred to me because, as he explained to me in Tim Horton’s restaurant, "I need to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so I can fulfill my call by Jesus to be an evangelist.” We prayed and he was Baptized with the Holy Spirit and easily began to speak in tongues (Mk. 16: 17).
"I’M HEALED! IT’S A MIRACLE!” (1 COR. 12:10)
At the Temple of Praise Meeting, Curve Lake, ON, a 65 year old man explained, "My health is not good. I’m on dialysis because my kidneys are only functioning at 20% and I have a bad heart.” We prayed for him to be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit and for healing (Mk. 16: 18). He fell to the floor (Is. 28: 13) praying in tongues (1 Cor. 14: 4). He tried several times to get up off the floor but couldn't and remained there for over an hour. When he stood up, he said, "I haven’t felt this good in many years!” After seeing his doctor, he called to tell me, "Jesus healed me! It’s a miracle!”
"HE RECEIVED ‘THE OTHER HALF” (JN. 3:5)
A man in his 60's explained, "I want the other half like the man you told us about.” I had shared in my message about a man who came to the altar at the Prayer Palace, Toronto, ON, who said to me, "I want the other half.” I asked him, "The other half of what?” He answered, "The other half of being born again. I have been born again of water. Now I want to be born again of the Spirit (Jn. 3: 5).” I said, "You are absolutely right!” I laid hands on him and we prayed and he received "the other half” of being "born again” and he fell to the floor speaking in tongues.
"PRAY AND HELP GORDON FILL JESUS’ GREAT BANQUET” (LK. 14:15-24)
Jesus has told us in "The Parable of the Great Banquet” that there are many people who have been invited to eat with Him in the Kingdom of God but they have all made excuses and, therefore, they will be replaced with others: the poor and maimed and blind and lame. We are commanded by Jesus to "Go out to the highways and hedges, and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.” And, that is what Gordon is called to do. And, so are you. That is what is called "evangelism” (Eph. 4: 11). That is what is called being "witnesses” (Acts 1: 8). Jesus wants us to help fill the seats at His table of those who have been invited to be His guests in the Great Banquet He has planned for them and us. But, they excused themselves with other activities which under normal circumstances were legitimate excuses. But, when Jesus invites us to come, no excuses are acceptable. It is Gordon’s responsibility to help replace those who excused themselves out of the Kingdom of Heaven and from His great Victory Celebration. Gordon needs your help to accomplish such a great task. Will you pray and ask Jesus what you can do to help Gordon complete the ministry as he goes out to churches, to not only bring in all who are spiritually "poor” (Matt. 5: 3) & maimed (Matt. 18: 8 - 9) & blind (Lk. 6: 39) & lame (Mk. 9: 45). In other words, people who are not only physically impaired but spiritually impaired. Gordon invites you to join him through your prayerful and financial help, so together, we can go out and find spiritually-lost people and bring them home to Jesus (Lk. 14: 21 - 22).
Gordon has a unique ministry in this sense. He wants to continue to accept invitations from churches, regardless of size anyplace in Canada, the USA or any country in the world without setting fees. So, we ask you to pray and ask Jesus what you can do to help Gordon. Then, fill in "The Special Offering Card” (opposite side of "The Prayer Card”) & return it in the self-addressed envelope. We also have "Pay Pal” available on our Web Site so you can contribute with your Credit Cards. Cheques & Money Orders should be made out to the "Gordon Williams Evangelistic Ass’n. or simply "G.W.E.A.”" Income tax receipts are sent out at the end of each year. "HELP US TO INCREASE THE HARVEST IN 2013!”
"BELIEVERS CAN CAST OUT DEMONS” (MK. 16:17)
Recently I received a call from a friend, John in Brampton, Ontario. The night before, a Christian friend who had returned from a business trip to China, was at his home. He was terrified & looking for help. After arriving home, he went to bed and was awakened by a demon who looked like a woman who attacked him and wrestled him to the floor and two more demons walked into his bedroom who had the appearance of two friends. The encounter with the demon caused him to get sick to his stomach. He was afraid that he would be attacked again. I met his friend & his wife and son at his home as soon as I could get there to get rid of the demons. I explained, for their protection that his wife & son needed to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so they could not be possessed (Mk. 16: 17 - 18). They agreed and received. I went through their house and cast the demons out. The next morning, the man called me to say, "I had the best sleep last night than I have had for a long time. Thank you.”
