REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS

Rev. Gordon Williams, Evangelist

"OUR MINISTRY IS TO FILL GOD’S GREAT BANQUET” (LK. 14:15–24)

Jesus told us, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him” (Jn. 3: 16 – 17).
This is Jesus’ "job description” and it is also our "job description”. He has sent us to find the lost people who have lost their way from God. Some got lost on their own and some were lost by other people! Regardless how this happens, Jesus has equipped us to go out and find the lost people. The lost can be reunited to God and His Family which becomes His Church. We were all lost until Jesus found us!
In the "Parable of the Great Banquet” (Lk. 14: 15 – 24) when the invited guests,(those who should have known Him) excuse themselves, He shows His love for the lost by sending His Servants (us) to go out into the street and lanes to bring in replacements: "the poor and maimed and blind and lame” (Mk. 16: 15; Acts 1: 8). Since there are still seats left, He sends us out again to the highways and hedges to compel people to come in that His house will be filled. That’s what is done in our Evangelistic Ministry: we find the lost so they can join the Great Banquet when Jesus returns (Matt. 24: 29 – 31; Jn. 5: 25 – 29; 1 Cor. 15: 51 – 58; 1 Thess. 4: 13 – 18).

Because Gordon does not set any fees for his ministry, he is able to accept invitations from any church regardless of size or location. Please pray for Gordon for financial help to accomplish this ministry to which Jesus has called him. Also ask Jesus what you can do to help accomplish this great work.

"THE MAN BECAME TRI-LINGUAL”
A couple came to our meeting in Welland, ON. The husband explained, "We have never received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet.” We prayed with his wife first to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit & healing of arthritis in her neck and back. She fell to the floor speaking in her tongues. The man spoke with a distinctive accent. He asked me, "Do you know what language I speak?” I guessed that it was Dutch. He laughed and said that it was German. I explained that after we prayed for him to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, he was not to speak in English or German. The Holy Spirit was going to give him a different language to speak and pray with (Mk. 16: 17). He would then be tri-lingual. We also prayed for healing of the cancer and he burst into his new language as he fell to the floor. They called later to say, "Jesus healed us! Thank you.”

"THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HEALING” (LK. 11: 9–13)
In a Church in Ecuador, a man in his 50’s explained, "I have a problem with my tear ducts. They run continuously with tears. I asked, "Have you received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2: 4)?” He answered, "No Sir, not yet.” We prayed him with the laying on of our hands (Mk. 16: 18) to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and healing and he began to speak in his new tongues language as he fell to the floor. He stood up to discover that that the tears had stopped running and his eyes were healed (Matt. 20: 34).

"FAITH IS JUST ENOUGH TO ASK JESUS FOR HELP” (MATT. 17: 20–21)
At a meeting in Wasaga Beach, ON, a 40 year old woman explained, "I have two children who are sick. But, I don’t know whether I have faith to believe that Jesus will heal them.” I said, "You have the wrong idea of what faith is. Faith is not what you think Jesus can or cannot do for them. Faith describes a relationship with Jesus in which we ask Him to act in our behalf or to heal our children. Faith is just simply to say, ‘Jesus I need your help. Jesus, please heal my children.’ Have you invited Jesus to be your Saviour yet?” She said, "Yes!” I asked, "Have you received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so the Holy Spirit yet?” She said, "No! I suggested that she needed to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so the Holy Spirit would encourage her and let her know that we can ask Jesus for anything that we need (Jn. 16:23–24).And, He would meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory(Philip. 4:19). She agreed and prayed with me as I laid hands on her and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and she began to speak in tongues and we also prayed for her children’s healing.

"IT’S WHOSOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF JESUS” (ACTS 2:21)
During ministry time at the Prayer Palace, Toronto ON, a 30 year old Hindu man, wearing a turban, came for prayer. I asked him, "Have you invited Jesus to be you’re your Saviour yet?” He answered, "No sir!” I asked, "Would you like to?” "”Yes, sir!” he answered. I asked further, "Would you like to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues?” Again, he answered, "Yes, Sir. That’s what I am here for.” As we prayed he received Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Jn. 3: 5) and began to speak in tongues as he fell to the floor. Later, he brought his wife for prayer to be Born Again and Baptized with the Holy Spirit and she began to speak in tongues as she fell to the floor (Is. 28: 13). A man and his wife brought their 3 children for prayer. He said, "My children all need the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so they can speak in tongues. I prayed with each, one at a time - all three: 7, 9, 11 years old received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and began to speak in tongues (Acts 19: 6).

"THE PRE-REQUISITE TO FULFILLING GOD’S PLANS” (ACTS 1:8)
At a meeting in Estevan, SK a man in his 40’s told me, "I would like to know God’s Plans for my life. I said, "Great! Now, have you received the Holy Spirit yet?” "No!” he answered and winced negatively. "Well, it is a prerequisite so that Jesus can show you His Plan for your life and give you the power to carry out His Plan”, I said. "Are you willing to give it a try?”, I asked. Reluctantly, he answered, "Alright but I don’t have any confidence”. "That’s perfect, then you won’t get in the Holy Spirit’s way. "Really!” he said. "Shall we try it,” I asked. "Alright!” he said. We prayed together asking Jesus to please forgive his sin and Baptize him with the Holy Spirit. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in his tongues language (Acts 1: 2: 4; 19: 6).Tears of joy filled his eyes as he fell to the floor (Is. 28: 13).

"OVERHEARD IN A DAIRY QUEEN RESTAURANT” (MK. 5:29)
After the Sunday Service in Estevan, SK, I was having some lunch. I could hear two men who had been in the Service talking from the other side of the restaurant. They didn’t see me. The older, white headed man asked his friend, "Did you go to the front for prayer?” His friend who looked to be in his 50’s answered, "Yes, I went up to ask for guidance. But he prayed for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. But, I didn’t really want it.” The older man asked, "Did you get it?” His younger friend laughing answered, "Yes!” The older man asked, "What’s it like?” The younger man said, with a smile, "It was great!” A while later, they saw me across the restaurant and waved a greeting at me. One man said, "Praise the Lord!” The other man said, "He’s great!”

"A BAD BOY TRANSFORMED INTO A GOOD BOY” (2 COR. 5:17)
In Ecuador in one of our meetings, a 5 year old boy came by himself for prayer. He explained, through his tear filled eyes "I have been a bad boy. I want to ask Jesus us to forgive me.” We prayed with him to ask Jesus to forgive him (1 Jn. 1: 9) and fill his heart with the Holy Spirit (Lk. 11: 13) so he could be a good boy. He was Baptized with the Holy Spirit and gracefully fell to the floor speaking in his new tongues language (Acts 2: 4).

"LET THE CHILDREN COME TO ME” (MK. 10: 14–16)
A 7 year old girl said, "I want to invite Jesus to come into my heart.” We prayed and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit fell to the floor speaking in tongues” (MK. 16: 17).

"JESUS CARES FOR US” (1 PET. 5: 7)
One thing that we should never forget is what Peter reminds us when he wrote, "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Pet. 5: 6 – 7). That’s another way of saying, "And my God shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus (Philip. 4:19). He meets our needs in due time which is the right time. Jesus continues to do "Signs, Wonders and Miracles” by using the gifts of the Holy Spirit that are distributed to us individually according to his will” (Heb. 2:4).
Please remember to email us your prayer requests and praise reports. From family, health problems, business and financial problems, healing, spiritual problems, friends, church, etc. and prayer for the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit", our God will supply all needs as we ask in Him in prayer. May our Lord Jesus continue to bless you!

Yours in Jesus,

Rev. Gordon Williams
