REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS
"JESUS HEALS ALL OUR DISEASES – INCLUDING AIDS” (1 PET. 2: 24)
At a meeting in Millet, AB, a man and his wife in their mid-50’s came for prayer when I gave the invitation. He had trouble walking and needed assistance. He explained to me that he received AIDS from a dirty needle when he was having surgery. He asked, in a whisper, "Do you think that Jesus can heal AIDS?” I answered, much to his surprise, "Yes, of course! He "forgives all your iniquity” and "heals all our diseases” (Ps. 103: 3). I explained that there is no footnote in my Bible that says that Jesus cannot heal AIDS. I asked him if he had ever received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. He said, "Yes, 16 years ago but I lost my tongues. The devil told me I could never get my tongues back.” He was full of fear. I explained, "What does the devil know? He lied to you” (Jn. 8: 44). We prayed for him to "stir up the gift” (tongues) (2 Tim. 1: 6 -7) and he easily began to speak in tongues (Acts 2: 4) and the fear left him. I told him, "Jesus can heal you.” Then, I laid hands on him and I asked him to pray in tongues while we prayed asking Jesus to heal the AIDS.” He said, "I feel better already!” He phoned me a month later to report, "I just came back from seeing my doctor and he told me that I no longer have AIDS.”
"YOU CAN ALSO SING IN THE SPIRIT (TONGUES)” (EPH. 5: 19; COL. 3: 16)
At a service in the Congregational Church of Moncton, NB, at a "Signs, Wonders & Miracles Conference, a woman explained, "I have had prayer many times over the years for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but I have never spoken in tongues.” I said, "We are going to correct that right now!” So, we prayed and she was having a problem getting started. I said, "You are a singer and can start singing in tongues. It might be just a little easier for you.” She began to sing in tongues and after a few minutes I suggested that she begin to speak in tongues and she did. (Eph. 5: 19; Col. 3:16).
"I HAD NO IDEA THAT IT WOULD BE THAT EASY” (ACTS 2: 4)
A couple came for prayer for their son who had been saved and had turned their back on Jesus. I asked them if they had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet. The woman said, "I have a difference of opinion about that. I’ve had teaching that tongues is not for today and so I have got some questions about speaking in tongues.” I suggested, "Let’s set aside the difference of opinion and ask Jesus to Baptize you with the Holy Spirit.” She agreed. I then asked her husband if he had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet. And, he said, "No.” I then explained they needed the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of tongues (languages) (Acts 19: 6). so they could pray with the guidance of the Holy Spirit that Jesus would bless their son. Paul tells us that it is "the goodness of God that leads a man to repentance” (Rom. 2: 4). So, they both prayed with me and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Both were praying fluently in their new languages. I was able to give both of them the interpretation of their tongues languages. The woman stopped and said, "I can’t speak in tongues!” I said, "You have been speaking in tongues for 2 ½ minutes and I was able to give you the interpretation. Surprised, she said, "I thought that I was just making something up.” I explained, "Yes and the Holy Spirit took what you thought you were making up and turned it into a tongues-language. She remarked, "I had no idea it would be that easy!” I then asked them to pray along in tongues and ask Jesus to send people to witness to their son and they did.
"TEARS ARE HEALED WITH THE GIFT OF TONGUES” (PS. 126:5)
At a church in Quito, Ecuador, a 50 year man who came for prayer, explained, "I have a problem with my tear ducts. They run continuously with tears. I asked him if he had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet. He had prayer to receive the Holy Spirit but did not speak in tongues. So, I prayed with him to receive the Holy Spirit and he began speak in his tongues-language as fell down to the floor. And, his tears stopped. When a person has prayer to receive the Holy Spirit but, for whatever reason, does not, or cannot release the tongues language, they most often will have this problem of a continuous tears flowing.
"EVERYBODY CAN RECEIVE THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” (ACTS 10: 34)
The problem that has developed in most of the churches is that they have not recognized that everybody can and must receive the authentic Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in "tongues” (Acts 2:4) and the "Signs” (Mk. 16: 17 – 20). The problem is that not everybody, especially not all clergy,can minister the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is demonstrated clearly in the ministry of Phillip in Samaria (Acts 8: 4 – 8; 14 – 17). He preached the Gospel, ministered with "the signs” following (Mk. 16: 17 – 8) with the result that people were saved, demons were cast out and people received healing. However, Peter and John were sent from Jerusalem to see whether anybody had received the Holy Spirit. They discovered that the Holy Spirit had "not fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus”. In other words, they had only been baptized with water for repentance. Like most clergy today, Phillip could not minister the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Most clergy do not want to believe that they do not have the ministry of praying with people to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The result is that they tell people that they are not the kind of people who can receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with "signs following”. Because most clergy or pastors cannot minister the Baptism of the Holy Spirit they try to say that it is not necessary for most people. Or worse, because they cannot do this ministry, they say that God no longer Baptizes people with the Holy Spirit. And, according to Scripture, these churches and clergy are absolutely wrong because they, themselves, have never received the Holy Spirit. Gordon has this ministry.
"THE MIGRAINE EVAPORATED” (1 COR. 12: 8)
At a meeting in at the Crossroads Christian Church, Englehart, ON when the Pastors were Dr. George and Elinor Duncan, a young woman in her 20’s responded to a "Word of Knowledge” (1 Cor. 12: 8) which the Holy Spirit gave me. It was for a woman who had a migraine headache. Before praying with her, I asked her if she had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. She had not. When I asked her, "Would you like to?” She replied, "I’ve wanted to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues for quite a while. We prayed for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and she fell to the floor speaking in tongues and we prayed for healing the migraine headache. She described, "the migraine evaporated!”
"HELP GORDON TO HARVEST PEOPLE FOR JESUS” (MATT 9: 38)
Now that spring has arrived and the farmers have been planting their crops and waiting for them to grow and be harvested. I think of what Jesus said to his disciples, "Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest?’ I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see how the fields are already white for harvest. He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together (Jn. 4:35–36). Jesus saw what most people cannot see. He could see that there is a number of people ready and waiting for Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance to be harvested into the Kingdom of Heaven. When our eyes are opened by the Holy Spirit, we can see the people who are ready to be harvested and have the "hunger and thirst for righteousness satisfied” (Matt. 5: 6). As Paul said, "Today is the day of Salvation” (2 Cor. 6: 2). Jesus said, "The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few” (Matt. 9: 27). Gordon needs your help in harvesting people for Jesus.
Please pray and ask Jesus what you can do to help him. He does not set any fees for his ministry so he is available to accept invitations from any church of any size in any country in the world. Please pray for Gordon and financial help to accomplish the ministry to which Jesus has called him. Ask Jesus what you can do to accomplish this great work.
"Just so, I tell you there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.” (Lk.15:7)
