Jesus Makes all Things New
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, JANUARY 2018

“A NEW YEAR AND JESUS MAKES ALL THINGS NEW” (JER. 31:31; HEB. 8:10)
As we take on a new outlook for the year, we need to remind ourselves that Jesus has plans for each one of us to be guided by the Holy Spirit and do the same ministry as He did. (Jn. 14:12; Lk. 12:12). We have been commissioned by Jesus to "go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation” (Mk. 16:15) and to be His "witnesses” unto the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Every day is a new day, and an opportunity to do the ministry of Jesus. (2 Cor. 6:2).

Where and why was Jesus born? It is hard to imagine that Jesus our “Saviour, and Christ the Lord” (Lk. 2:11), was born in a lowly manger in a stable amongst the animals because there was no room for Joseph and Mary at the inn. Despite His humble beginnings, the new born's first welcoming guests were 3 wise men/shepherds bearing gifts, who were invited by an angel, and accompanied by a host of angels (Lk. 2:8-20).

Jesus was and still is, "God in the Flesh," and His birth was not just to take away the sin of the world, but to establish a "New Covenant" with all His people. Each year people make new year resolutions, promises or oaths to God that they struggle to keep (Ecc. 5:4-7). God doesn't want our empty promises, He wants us to keep His "New Covenant" which offers Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance: "Our God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philip. 4:19).

Jesus is our "Great Shepherd" (Heb. 13:20) who died on the "Cross on Calvary;" and His resurrection paid for all the sin of the world. Jesus makes all things new, including all who receive Him and make Him their Saviour, Lord and God. They become "new people" and are ushered into God's Kingdom. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (Jn. 3:16).

Gordon continues to minister Salvation and the "Gift/Gifts of the Spirit" all year 'round by accepting invitations from all around the world to preach the Gospel. And because of your prayerful help, he does not charge fees to these churches or ministries that invite him, regardless of their size. Like the Apostle Paul, Gordon is led by the Holy Spirit, and asks for a love offering gift to allow him to continue to accept invitations anywhere in the world.

Please pray and continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7) asking Jesus how you can contribute. All offerings and gifts are income tax deductible. Income tax receipts are sent out during February 2018.

Please continue to help us to increase the harvest of people of all ages into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 4:35). To make a financial contribution to Gordon's ministrydonate online using our "Secure Pay Pal” cart on our web site using a credit card. "A MISSIONARY'S WORK STARTS IN THE TOWN WHERE THEY LIVE” (MK. 5:19-20)
In a meeting in Wasaga, Ontario, a tall man and his wife both asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and for direction for their lives. As we prayed, they both fell to the floor praying in the Spirit (tongues). Then he asked me, “Has the Lord given you any prophetic direction for our lives?”

“The Holy Spirit indicated to me that you were not listening to Him about
selling your house. Does that make any sense to you?” I asked. He answered, “Well yes, because we have been trying to sell our house for a few months and we can’t find a buyer. We think that we are supposed to go to Africa as missionaries but it's not working out.”

I suggested that it would be better to pray and hear from the Holy Spirit first before they decided to go. When the Lord wants us to do something, everything just falls into place! Perhaps the missionary work that you are being called to do is right here in Wasaga Beach? They smiled and the husband replied, “We never looked at it that way before!”

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."
(Prov. 3:5-6)

“GOD’S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS” (IS. 55:8)
A man at Carrick Camp, Ontario explained, “I think that I have a problem with my heart. I have some strange kind of pains.” I asked him, “Have you ever had prayer for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?” He told me that he had.

I asked, “Have you received the gift of speaking in tongues?” He replied, “No, not yet!” I shared with him that often when the Holy Spirit wants to give us the gift of tongues, (called the Gift of International Languages), He gives us strange symptoms, similar to what he was experiencing (Mk. 16:17; Acts 2:4; 1 Cor. 12:10).

Our tongue is like a rudder on a ship which the Holy Spirit uses to direct and guide us (Jas. 3:4–5). This allows Him to give input to others through the use of our tongues. I suggested that we pray for the infilling/Baptism of the Holy Spirit first, allowing Jesus to be Lord over his life. He agreed! We prayed and he received the Holy Spirit as he fell to the floor speaking in tongues. I interpreted his tongues message as he praised God.

“TEARS OF JOY REPLACED HIS TEARS OF GUILT” (2 TIM. 1:2-4)
At a Church in Way, Sudbury, Ontario, where Rev. Jack Dominique is the pastor, a man in his 40’s came to me at the altar and tearfully said, “I committed adultery on my wife, but only once, and now I can’t find any peace. Also I’m afraid that I have lost my Salvation, and I don’t know what to do.”

I told him that Jesus would forgive him, but he must also forgive himself! Tearfully, he forgave himself and then we prayed together. We asked Jesus to forgive, restore and renew him with the Holy Spirit. Minutes later, he fell on the floor praying in tongues. When he stood up, he had “the peace of God that passes all understanding” (Philip. 4:7).

Before he left, I explicitly told him that he was not to discuss this with anybody else, especially his wife. And whenever he remembered his adultery, it was not to make him feel guilty, but for him to say, “Thank you Jesus for forgiving and restoring me.” Tears of joy ran down his cheeks and replaced his tears of guilt! Jesus transformed him! He was a changed man! Amen!

If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me.

Happy New Year to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

A Reminder to Pray Always (Matt. 7:11; Lk. 11:13)
Jesus said, “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him! (Matt. 7:11; (Lk. 11:13).

God's gifts are available to all of us if we just seek Him and ask (Matt. 7:7-12)! God's greatest gift is Salvation, and it doesn't stop there... As part of the Salvation package we can receive the "signs following" (Mk. 16:16-17), the "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" and the "Fruit of the Holy Spirit."

Don't delay - receive His Holy Spirit and His Good Gifts today! (Eph. 6:18). His Gifts are waiting for you!

Our Confidence is in the Lord! (Gal. 5:10)
At a meeting in Quito, Ecuador, the pastor asked me to pray with a man that was a lawyer who taught at the local law school. He told me that he was very anxious about teaching a new course, even though he had never had a problem like that before.

I explained that Jesus is our lawyer and advocate (1 Jn. 2:1), along with the Holy Spirit who is also a lawyer (paraclete). Together they will be able to remove his anxiety and give him peace when he needed it (Jn. 14:26; Jn. 15:26; 16:17).

Nervously, he agreed to prayer. I laid hands on him and we asked Jesus to take away his anxiety and baptize him with the Holy Spirit. He fell to the floor speaking in his new tongues language. When he stood up, he smiled, and then remarked, “Now I feel much better - I'm totally confident it will all work out! Thank you Jesus!”

The Holy Spirit Gives Us A New Language (Acts 2:4; 8:17;  9:17)
At our Carrick Camp Meeting, a young woman brought her father who was in his 60’s for prayer. She explained, “He has never spoken in tongues!” I asked him, “Would you like that?” He answered, “Yes, I would!”

I noticed he had a Dutch accent, so I explained that when we pray for him to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, he was not to speak in either English or his native tongue, Dutch. I assured him that the Holy Spirit was going to give him a new language he had never learned before.

We prayed together first for his Salvation and then, for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. He began to speak in his new tongues as he fell backwards onto the floor.

As he lay there, his daughter held his hand and prayed along side of him in her tongues language. Praise the Lord!

We continue to look for more Partners to help Gordon to continue to add people to the family of God. Your prayerful help and donations makes him available to accept invitations to any church regardless of size or location in Canada, the U.S.A. or any country in the world as led by the Holy Spirit.

Because of our Partners, Gordon does not charge fees but goes on the basis of love offerings. That is the reason why we have so much joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 Pet. 1:8) as people are saved, rededicate themselves to Jesus, baptized with the Holy Spirit, receive gifts of the Holy Spirit, are healed, receive deliverance and continue to have their needs met.
