The Holy Spirit is Our Guide
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, JULY 2017

"WHEN YOU PRAY, KEEP IT SIMPLE" (MATT. 7–11)
I recently had a call from a woman from Saskatchewan who previously had attended one of our meetings. She had never been involved in a church before until her best friend brought her to one of our worship services.

We prayed for healing for her hoarse voice and her smoke damaged lungs. We prayed together, and she received Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of "speaking in tongues."

Afterwards she asked me if she could get a copy of that healing prayer that I prayed over her. I explained that I don't make copies of my prayers. All we need to do is simply ask Jesus for our needs and He will provide them (Matt. 7:7-8).

I explained to her that when we pray, we ought to speak to Jesus just like we talk to a "best  friend," in our own words. We can express our feelings and thoughts to Him openly. He responds by helping and healing us (Jn. 10:27).

In Matthew verse 7, chapters 10 and 11, Jesus taught his disciples how to pray:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened for you. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to them who ask him!"

In other words, we simply ask Jesus for good things such as healing, help with our families (including friends); or whatever our needs are, He will supply them "according to His riches and glory" (Phil 4:19). Amen!

Please email us your prayer requests whether personal, or involving family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, salvation, healing, deliverance, business, church; etc. Whatever your needs are, we will pray for you (Philip. 4:19). Also, let us know when Jesus answers your prayer so we can thank Him along with you (Lk. 16:16).

“HELP US MINISTER THE ABUNDANT LIFE TO OTHERS” (JN. 10:10)
The "abundant life" describes an exciting personal relationship with God our Father, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and with the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. I can best describe it by the lyrics of a Gospel song, called "Happiness is the Lord:"
Happiness is to know the Saviour;
Living a life within His favor;
Having a change in my behavior;
Happiness is the Lord.

Happiness is a new creation;
Jesus and me in close relation,
Having a part in His salvation;
Happiness is the Lord.

No one knew this "abundant life" better than Apostle Paul. In sharing his experiences, He wrote many letters to the church, giving testimonies about what the Lord had done in his life. In Philip, chapter 14, verse 19, Paul wrote, “and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Paul knew he could rely on Jesus for everything - even his own life!

Jesus exclaimed, “You search the Scriptures thinking that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me; yet you refuse to come to me that you might find life (Jn. 5:39).

We must trust and go to Jesus personally, first praying in English (or your native language), and then, in our Holy Spirit "tongues" language (Eph. 6:18). We need to "love Jesus with our mind, body and soul" (Matt. 22:37); bringing all of our needs and wants before Him in prayer (Phil. 4:6).

This is what we do in our ministry. With your faithfulness, prayer and financial support, we are able to offer and help people to receive Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance, finances, and much more!

Your partnership generosity I can visit any place in Canada, the USA or any other country that Jesus leads me to do ministry.

Also, as a result of your faithful donations, we continue to see more ministry than ever before.

Please continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7) and prayerfully ask Jesus how you can contribute.

Throughout 2017, help us to increase the harvest of all people into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 4:35) like never before. Amen!

“THE GIFTS AND CALLING OF GOD CANNOT BE LOST.” (ROM. 11:29)
At our Carrick Camp miracle meeting, a woman in her 60’s explained, “I was baptized in the Holy Spirit about 19 years ago, but I stopped praying in tongues (Acts 2:4). Can I get re-baptized with the Spirit again?”

I explained that when we receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, He never leaves or forsakes us (Heb. 13:5). I told her that she had the same problem that Timothy had when he thought the Holy Spirit had left him. The apostle Paul instructed Timothy, “Hence I remind you, to stir up the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of hands; for God did not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power and love and self-control” (2 Tim. 1:6–7).

Then we prayed together and I laid hands on her as Paul instructed. She asked Jesus to forgive her for any sin in her life, and for her tongues (spiritual gift of God) to be "stirred up." As we prayed, I put my ear closer towards her face, and I heard the faint whisper of her tongues. Within minutes, the Holy Spirit had her speaking in tongues out loud fluently. Praise be to our faithful Lord!

“HE WALKED AWAY CARRYING HIS CANE.” (HEB. 2:4)
Before our meeting began, I spoke with a 70 year old man who told me that he had had surgery to remove a growth that covered most of the sole of his foot. He mentioned that it had grown back, and that it was more painful than ever. The only way he could walk, he told me, was by using a cane. I listened, and then I suggested that he come to the alter during ministry time, where I would pray for his healing. ”He remarked, “I’ve had prayer a few times, but it just got worse...”

After awhile, he softened, and finally agreed to come for prayer. (The Holy Spirit had already began his work on him). When prayer time had finally come, he walked towards the altar; then stopped in front of me. We prayed together asking Jesus for a miracle healing, and for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Lk. 11:11; Matt. 7:9-11).

Within minutes, he fell to the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit, praying quietly in his new tongues language. He remained there for a short time, while others from our prayer team crouched over him; praying for him as well.

At the end of ministry time, I noticed him walking back and forth without the use of his cane. I walked to greet him. When he spotted me, he blurted out, "Look here! Jesus healed my foot and I'm just walking around to make sure it's healed!"

“Isn’t that just what we asked Him to do?” I said. “Yes! Yes! That`s right!" he smiled. For the first time in a very long time, he went home "pain-free," but this time, he carried his cane! Thank you Jesus!

"WOMAN HANDS HEALED OF SWOLLEN JOINTS!” (MK. 16:17)
At our recent Carrick Camp meeting, we witnessed Jesus doing some exciting things. A woman in her mid 50’s came for prayer and asked me, “Do I have to fall down when I have prayer?” I smiled and said, “No, falling down is not a requirement, but it often happens when the Holy Spirit wants to heal us and get our full attention.”

“Good”, she responded, "I need Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I also need healing for the arthritis in my hands.”

She held her hands out and showed me how swollen her finger joints had become. Painful and uncomfortable, the arthritis had clearly taken over.

We prayed and first, she received Jesus as her Saviour, and then second, she was baptized with the Holy Spirit (Lk. 11:11). She spoke in her new tongues language with ease (Mk. 16:17–18). Not long after we prayed, the swelling in her joints went away! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus for your miracle healing!

"ROMAN CATHOLIC RECEIVES THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (HEB. 2:4)
At one of our meetings, a woman in her 40’s from Buffalo, New York, explained to me, “I am a schizophrenic and have been one for 15 years, and  I want to get better.”  I asked her, “Have you ever invited Jesus to be your Saviour and Lord?" She answered, “Yes, I have." Then I asked her, “Have you ever asked Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Spirit?”

“I’m a Roman Catholic! I don’t think that this is for me!” she objected. I explained that I also work with Roman Catholics, and that the Roman Catholic Bishop in Buffalo, New York, had offered me a church to pastor at one time.

During our conversation, I noticed her body began to shake. I urged her to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and assured her, that He would heal by changing her from the inside out. Also, if she cooperated with the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues everyday, she would eventually be totally renewed, and "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and her mind in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:6-7).

Eager to be healed, she agreed to pray with me. First, I took authority over any unclean spirits, and then I commanded them (or anything that was not of Jesus), to leave her. Immediately the shaking in her body stopped. (Most often demon possession imitates various mental, physical and emotional problems such as shaking.)

Then she prayed along with me while I asked Jesus to forgive her for any sin or wrong she had done; and to baptize her with the Holy Spirit. With ease, she began to speak in her tongues language (Mk. 16:17).

“Well, I finally did it!” she remarked in a relieved voice. Then she fell to the floor, continuing to pray in her new tongues language the Holy Spirit had just given her (Acts 2:4).

If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me. Blessings to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

At a "Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship" (F.G. B. M. F. I.) meeting in Toronto, Ontario, a man named Joe came for prayer. He explained, “I'm a Christian, baptized with the Holy Spirit, and when I was saved, the Lord took away my drinking problem, but I still have a smoking problem... And I just can’t stop.” “Do you speak in tongues everyday?" I asked. “No, not really,” he answered.

I explained to him that the reason he was having this problem was that it was an attempt by his physical body (flesh), to quench his "hunger and thirst for righteousness" (Matt. 5:6). This desire is in all of us, and is meant to be satisfied with a "right-relationship" with Jesus (Mark 16:16-17).

I instructed him on a sure-fire "holy spirit remedy" that would eliminate his bad habit. I explained that whenever he felt the desire to smoke, he was to pray in tongues for the same length of time that it takes him to smoke a cigarette.

He responded by saying, “I've got the desire to smoke right now!”

Without hesitation, we began the process by asking Jesus to "stir up the gift of the Holy Spirit" (2 Tim. 1:6) within him. As we prayed, he became limp and fell to the floor speaking in tongues. He remained there quietly, praying in his tongues until the Holy Spirit completed his work on him.

After ministry time, we spoke again, and I told him that when he got the urge, to continue to pray in tongues until the desire to smoke was completely gone. This could most likely amount to about 120 minutes in total, (which is the equivalent of 3 packages of 20 cigarettes) to fully break the habit.

I also pointed out that two things will result from praying in tongues - first, the habit would be broken, and second, he would clearly hear the Holy Spirit's voice.

The quality of our lives depend on hearing the Holy Spirit speak to us. He tells us how to live a life of victory as God intended for each one of us (Jer. 29:11).

Later, he called me from his home to say, "I've been praying in tongues each time I've had the urge for a cigarette, and I've discovered that 'smoking in tongues' really does work!" "Yes, this is true," I chuckled as we both rejoiced over his new found freedom.

When we participate with the Holy Spirit, and pray in our tongues language, our "hunger for thirst and righteousness" will be satisfied, and our "bad habits" (such as smoking, eating and drinking) will no longer have power over us. Amen!

Don't be Discouraged by Others from using Your Tongues Language!

At our Carrick Camp Meeting, a woman in her 30’s explained that some time ago she had been praying alone and asked Jesus to baptize her with the Holy Spirit. Then, she began to speak in what she thought were "tongues" (Acts 2:4).

However, some people had told her that she could not receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit when she was by herself. Believing this, she had others pray for her with the laying on of hands.

Also, to make matters worse, other Christians had told her that her tongues language was demonic and not from Jesus.

I explained to her that many people, including myself, have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit while being alone.

I asked her to speak in her tongues language so I could hear. I listened to her tongues as she prayed, and the Holy Spirit gave me the interpretation (1 Cor.12:10). “What a beautiful language!” I encouraged her. She thanked me, and then we prayed Jesus would use her in ministry.

The Holy Spirit had her fall to the floor (Is. 28:13) while she continued to pray in her tongues (Eph. 6:18). We can trust in the Holy Spirit to do the necessary work in us when we ask. Amen!

Woman Receives The Holy Spirit While Nursing Her Baby!

At a meeting in Ecuador, a woman was openly breast feeding her baby. She came to me and asked, “I would like to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.”

I asked her, “Would you like to have another lady hold your baby while we pray for you?” She replied, “Sir, it is not necessary. My baby is fine!”

I prayed with her to receive, and she fell to the floor speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4). The baby remained in her arms the whole time and didn't make a sound! When she got up from the floor she came to me and said, “Thank you very much Pastor!"

Praise the Lord! What a unique way to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit!
