The Order of Worship
“When you come together…” (1 Cor. 14:26-40).
This is the only “order of worship” in the New Testament. Sadly, very few churches follow these instructions from Paul. Instead of aligning ourselves with God's meaning that all things should be done decently and in order, we have developed our own boring concept of orderly worship. God is never boring!
Rather than simply attending meetings as spectators, when everyone gathers together to worship God, each person is supposed to arrive prepared to share something from the Holy Spirit: a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a

The Fallout From Sin
Many people shrug their shoulders at the contention that they are sinners, saying they have never really committed any serious sin or wrongdoing. They have been, according to their own understanding, good moral people – good citizens. They have paid their taxes, have never been in trouble with the law, take pride in being good neighbours and are generally nice people.
They have never been drug -addicts or alcoholics or abused their spouses or their children. They may have gone to church and worked hard all of their lives, perhaps establishing enviable reputations or standing in the

Does the Baptism of the Holy Spirit Happen at the Time of Salvation?
Today many believers have been told they received the Holy Spirit when they believed – but that is not necessarily true. They mistake the cleansing experience of Salvation (John 1:9) for the infilling or baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Unfortunately, most churches teach (misleadingly) that people receive the Holy Spirit when they ask Jesus to forgive their sin and give them salvation. In our experience, it’s rare that people are saved and filled with the Spirit at the same time.
In the Book of Acts, it occurs on one time out of the five times when people receive salvation (Acts

Is Tithing for Today?
No matter where I travel, I am constantly asked, "Do we have to tithe 10% of our income to the Lord’? I have discovered that people who are spiritually blind and in rebellion to what Jesus wants, are always trying to find a way to cheat God.
Yes, tithing is in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. It is carried over from the original Melchizedek (King of Righteousness) included in the Old Testament where the tithes were given to the tribe of Levi. Under the New Testament the tithes are given to the tribe of Judah which is Jesus’ tribe since He is the new High Priest

A Right Relationship with God
"Ho, every one who thirst, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! (Isaiah 55:1-13)
There are some things money can't buy; there is a thirst that ordinary water, wine, milk, coffee or tea can't quench; and there is a hunger that meat and bread can't satisfy. That hunger and thirst is for "righteousness". Righteousness is the innate desire for a right relationship with God.
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied" (Matthew 5:6).
We can be satisfied only after we have had our hunger filled by Jesus

How to get Loved Ones Saved
The goal to getting a spouse, loved one, family member or friend saved (Rom. 10:9) is not to force them to church, but to get them introduced to Jesus Christ personally. The goal is to:
"sanctify her (him), having cleansed her (him) by the washing of water with the Word" (Ephesians 5:26).
This does not mean to force the unbeliever to read the Bible; this does not mean to force anyone to go to church or nag the person to become a Christian; and this does not mean to point out faults and sins to force repentance (1 Cor 13:4–8). It does mean to let the Word of God flow through you

Do we really have Free Will?
Many people still want to believe that God has given us all free will and that we have no right to pursue and pressure people into the Kingdom of Heaven. However, the Apostle Paul tossed out the mythical idea of "free will".
We have no real free will to choose between good and evil until Jesus saves us and baptizes us with the Holy Spirit.
"Jesus answered him, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless on is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God... Truly, truly, I say to you, unless on is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Do not marvel that I said to you,

Jesus Healed My Heart
Once at "H.I.S Ministries” in Millet, Alberta, a man in his 60’s explained that he had suffered a heart attack and his heart was unstable so he needed prayer for healing. I asked him if he had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet and he said he had not.
I explained to him how he needed to be baptized with the Holy Spirit so that Jesus could show him His plan for his life. And also, when the Holy Spirit fills his heart, He will give him the "springs of living water” (Revelation 7:17). As a result, the Holy Spirit would begin to heal his heart as he was obedient to

The Holy Spirit in the Trinity
As one of my seminary professors at Princeton Theological Seminary used to remind us over and over again: “the Heavenly Father is God over us; Jesus Christ is God who walks alongside of us, and the Holy Spirit is God who comes and dwells inside of us.” The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit and Jesus’ Spirit. How unfortunate that He is a stranger to most Christians. We need to take the time to get to know Him. He is a wonderful person and desires to know us intimately – but He will come into our lives only upon invitation.
The Holy Spirit is a real person. He has a personality,

Did I or Didn't I Receive the Holy Spirit?
Once at a Pentecostal church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, a man in his 40's explained to me, “I just finished taking the Alpha Course. I was told that I received the Holy Spirit at the end of it when some people prayed with me. I don’t feel any different. Did I or didn’t I receive the Holy Spirit?” I asked him, “Did you speak in tongues?” “No! I was told that it was not necessary,” he answered. I explained to him that by simply asking to receive the Holy Spirit does not guarantee that you will receive Him.
First of all, there must be a genuine repentance for any sin in

Generational Sins or Curses No Longer Exist
"Generational Curses" or "Generational Sin" basically means passing the blame for our sin to our forefathers. This was one of the frightening realities of the Old Testament Covenant that God made with Israel. It received its authority from the second Commandment. This meant there were immediate consequences upon those who broke God's commandments but there were also future considerations in that God would allow the prodigy of the sinner to suffer the consequences of their forefather's sin. Then God saw that the Old Covenant was not working and accomplishing for Him "a chosen race, a

Where do the Miracles Happen?
God is still in the miracle business today and our Churches are supposed to be a place where God's Miracles happen!
Several years ago when I was preaching in the Prayer Palace, Toronto Ontario, a man brought a friend to the service. He had never been in a church before. His friend had witnessed to him and prayed with him for Salvation and brought him to the church which was over 2 hours away so he could receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I prayed with him and he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fell to the floor speaking in his new tongues.
Three weeks later, he

Do all Religions Worship the Same God?
All religions do not worship and serve the same God, nor does God change His name from one country to another. Just as we do not change the name on our passports every time we travel from one country to another, Jesus did not change his name either. No other religion can offer what Jesus offers.
Religions such as Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, Christian Science, Scientology, and even Roman Catholicism... do not belief nor confess that Jesus is the "only begotten Son of God", that He is God become man, 100% God and 100% man; that He was born of a virgin who lived a sinless human life

There is only One Festival that we are to Celebrate.
In that He says, A new covenant, 'He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away'. (Heb. 8:7–13)
Some things are brought into the New Covenant from the Old Testament. These Old Covenant festivals are not to be celebrated today. Jesus said, “The law and the prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and every one enters it violently (Lk.16:16). If it’s not in the New Testament, it’s not from God. Listen to what God (Yahweh) said:

How to identify Authentic Christians
"And these signs will accompany those who believe..." (Mark 16:15-20)
Jesus tells us how we can identify authentic Christians. He says we are walking sign-boards after we have become born again and are Baptized both in water and with the Holy Spirit. These developments result in signs (like trademarks or logos) which show the world that we are saved people who are prepared to give directions to others so that they can find Jesus.
The first sign of the true believer is the authority to cast demons out of people who have been possessed and set them free.
The second

How should I pray?
After watching Jesus pray, one of his disciples asked him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples” (Lk. 11:1). He probably noticed that Jesus often prayed when he was alone. For some mysterious reason he never prayed with His disciples for any length of time. And so His disciples thought that maybe John’s disciples knew something more about prayer. Perhaps they knew how to pray better than Jesus’ disciples.
Even then, Jesus just gave him a very short prayer lesson. He said, “When you pray say: “Our Father, hallowed by thy name; Thy kingdom come; Give us

Why do people reject the Gift of Tongues?
Why do people reject the Gift of Tongues?
Tongues, the “gift of national languages” (1 Cor. 12:10), is God’s unique “communications system” which changes our personal prayer life (1 Cor. 14:4, 15; Eph. 6:18). And when combined with the “gift of interpretation of tongues”, when we come together in our fellowships in worship, we can give messages from God to people (1 Cor. 14:22, 27). When Paul writes, “Are all apostles? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?” The answer is “NO because all have

Did Jesus speak in tongues?
Did Jesus speak in tongues?
Yes, of course He did, and He still does. He speaks in all the 7,111 languages that are spoken on the earth today. And through this unique sign of speaking in tongues (Mk. 16:17) as Jesus said, or as Paul said, “the gift of other national languages”, Jesus gives His church the ability to reach every language in the world. If you have never received the real Baptism of the Holy Spirit, come to one of our meetings or contact me, and I will pray with you to receive the Holy Spirit with the signs (Mk. 16:17-18) of authenticity and you will have the proof that

Jesus is Calling All His Sheep!
"I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd." (John 10:14-16)
Jesus has a calling on all His people, not only His sheep, but lost sheep as well. A veterinarian once told me that after sheep were sheered or fleeced for wool, they can't recognize each other until their new wool grows in.
That is what happens when

Why do I need to Speak in Tongues?
The one question that keeps turning up is what a young woman asked me at a recent meeting: “Why is it necessary to speak in tongues?” My first words were, “Because it is God’s Communication System (Mk. 16:17; 1 Cor. 12:10). The one problem with this gift is that it is called/translated as “tongues” when it should be “other national languages”. "Tongues" is an outdated name.
We would have the same problem today if we continued to use the words “horseless carriage” instead or “car” or “automobile”. Could you imagine the look on the face of a car salesman if

When do the Miracles Start?
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told his disciples "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth” (Act 1:8). Being a "witness” means to share with other people what Jesus has done for you. Jesus also told us how to identify a "real, authentic Christian” by what He called "these signs” or the proof - by casting out demons, speaking in new languages, being protected while doing ministry, and being healed with the laying on of hands (Mk.16:17-20)

Are Father's the Boss in the House?
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb." (Psalm 139:13)
All fathers and mothers are entrusted by God to prepare their children in order to accomplish God’s plan for their lives. Many forget that Jesus had an earthly father as well, named Joseph, who adopted and guided him spiritually speaking (Lk. 3:23). Joseph helped prepare Jesus for ministry and to be our “Saviour of the World” (Matt. 1:20–21; Lk. 2:11).
Apostle Paul explained, “the head of every man is Christ” (1 Cor. 11:3). Husbands should act like and represent Jesus

Going Fishing with Jesus is Exciting!
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. (Matthew 4:19-20)
Jesus’ first disciples were fishermen. He found them as he walked along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The first two were brothers, one Simon (called Peter) and the other Andrew. Jesus' offer was one that they couldn’t refuse: “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
In Greek that means fishing for all people including men, women and children. It was a similar invitation Jesus gave me along with His

The 15 Gifts of the Holy Spirit
"For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you..." (Romans 1:8-17).
The church in Rome had a good reputation, and so Paul wanted to go and visit those believers and have fellowship with them. He prayed for them, "without ceasing," that God might let him visit them. It was his desire to impart some spiritual gifts to them.
This is a ministry that many of us have. We pray with people not only for salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but for the "spiritual gifts" (charismatic gifts) that Paul mentions later in (Romans 12:6-8; and 1st

The Holy Spirit is for Today.
A 50 year old woman came to me and said, “I wanted to go to another church to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and my Pastor said it was not for today.”
“Your Pastor is wrong, I answered! I told her what Peter had said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). She listened and then remained silent, unsure of what to say next.
I then asked her, "Are you ready to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in

Two Miracles - One Family!
At a meeting in Millet, Alberta, a man in his mid sixties, who had difficulty walking, came forward to me for prayer. He revealed that he got AIDS during surgery from a dirty needle.
I asked him, “Have you ever received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?” He replied, “Yes, about sixteen years ago, but I lost my tongues. The devil told me that I could never get my tongues back. So I was afraid to even try.”
