One God with 3 Names Prayers to other Gods go Unheard

Jesus made it very clear that there is only “ONE GOD” who does not change His name as He moves from one place or country to another (1 Cor. 8:6; Isaiah 46:9). In Hebrew His Name is “Yahweh” (mentioned 6,823 times in the Old Testament) and in Greek it is “Jesus” whose name means “Yahweh is Salvation” (mentioned 1,034 times) and "Christ" mentioned 561 times in the New Testament).

Paul explains that ALL other so-called Gods are “demons” (1 Cor. 10:10–22).

"Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons. Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?" (1 Corinthians 10:20-22) NKJV

To pray to anybody else (ie. other gods, dead people, angels, etc.) means that those prayers go unheard. Since Jesus is Emmanuel (God with us), we can pray to the Heavenly Father (Matt. 6: 9; Lk. 11:13), to Jesus Christ (Jn. 15:7) and the Holy Spirit (Jn. 16: 8–15).

Peter said it best, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Remember Saints, God has made prayer very simple by talking to Him by any one of His three Names mentioned above. By doing this you will be heard!

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person [person with a right relationship with Jesus] is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)
