At a Business Men’s Fellowship Meeting (BMF) in Gananoque, Ontario, a woman with her daughter, brought her 16 year old grandson for prayer. She explained, “He can’t talk. He is autistic!”
I asked him, “Have you ever invited Jesus to be your Saviour?” He shook his head, “No” and mumbled something. I asked him, “Would you like to?” His grandmother said, “He can’t talk.” I told her, “Watch what Jesus is going to do.” He shook his head, “Yes!” and mumbled again.
“Would you like to receive the Holy Spirit into your heart so you can speak in a new language?” He mumbled and shook his head, “Yes!” I asked him to pray along in his mind as I prayed with him. And when we had prayed, he began to speak in tongues! Praise the Lord!
I then asked his mother, “Have you received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit yet and she answered, “No”. We prayed and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and she also began to speak in tongues. Grandmother stirred up the Gift of Tongues which she had received just as Paul told Timothy to do (2 Tim. 1:6–7).
