REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, DECEMBER 2O12

Rev. Gordon Williams, Evangelist

Have you ever been asked, "What is the most expensive Christmas Gift that you have ever received?” I was asked that question a few years ago. I looked back over the years and then, I thought about it. Was this some kind of a "trick question” from a greedy person who wanted to compare the value of gifts? He was excited because his father had given him a brand new car which had cost over $25,000. I smiled and said, "The most expensive Christmas Gift that I have ever received cost my Father $ 39,742,184,000.00 (Matt. 18:24). He was stunned. I explained, "It’s my Heavenly Father who came to earth as Jesus who paid for my sin on the Cross of Calvary.” Melvin B. Tolson explained, "The wickedness of the heart is beyond human understanding."

Jesus attempted to get us to understand it’s damage to people and the whole earth by putting a monetary value on the cost of one man’s sin. This is described in the "Parable of the Unforgiving Servant” (Matt. 18: 23-35). The most expensive Christmas gift is from Jesus Christ who paid for our Salvation (Jn. 19:30). He wants all of us to have the gift of Salvation. But Christmas is not about just receiving one Gift, Jeus wants  to give us gift upon gift: the "Gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:4), to be our Defense Counselor (Jn. 16:7-15). The "Grace Gifts" or "Gifts of the Holy Spirit" meet people’s needs. They are Prophecy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Giving, Administration, Mercy, Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, Discerning of Spirits, Gift of Tongues (other national languages),and Interpretation” (Rom. 12:6-8; 1 Cor. 12:8-10). Each Gift of the Spirit is valued at $3,974,218.40 each (Matt. 25:14-30).

The first Gift He wants to give is called the, "Signs Following” which allows us to "cast out demons, speak in tongues, pick up serpents, drink any deadly thing without it hurting us, and lay hands on the sick so they will recover (Mk. 16:17-18). These amazing Gifts will meet all of our needs (Philip. 4:19).

If you haven’t received God’s "Christmas Gifts of Salvation", the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance, and other needs, come to one of our meetings or contact me to receive your Christmas Gifts. They have been waiting for you, laying under Jesus’ Christmas Tree that are shaped in the form of a "Cross on a Hill" called Calvary, just outside of Jerusalem. They will be delivered to you upon your request: "And, it shall be that that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.....Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:21,38). He only gives "good gifts” (Matt. 7:11; Lk. 11:13). You can’t buy or earn these gifts. These are the Christmas Gifts that guarantee our reservation in Heaven (Eph. 1:13-14). Have a Merry Christmas!

"HELP US TO ‘SHARE CHRISTMAS” (MATT. 25:31-46)

Every year we receive requests at Christmas to help pastors, Christians, locally, across Canada, USA, and other countries: individuals, children, married couples, sick, unemployed, and senior citizens. Please pray about making a special gift in addition to your monthly support to our ministry. Let's together help those who cannot help themselves. Your generosity has enabled us to meet every request. Please ask Jesus what you should do to "SHARE CHRISTMAS”.

Yours in Jesus,

Rev. Gordon Williams
