Rev. Gordon Williams, Evangelist
“Is there a guarantee that if we get married, we won’t end up in a divorce?” is the question that I am asked, over and over again?” I am asked by people who have family members or friends who have been through a terrible divorce and do not want to have a similar experience. A woman in her 40’s who had already gone through a bad marriage and a terrible divorce as well as the man she was living with, who had the same experience as she, asked, “What difference does it make to have a piece of paper (Marriage Certificate) on the wall whether you are married or not?” I explained that it makes all the difference in the world. Marriage was and is God’s idea. In order to have a happy and wonderful marriage, it is necessary to have Him involved in people’s marriages. Marriage is supposed result in a permanent honeymoon. This means to have a personal relationship with Jesus who baptizes us with the Holy Spirit to be our Counsellor and guide us in marriage. The Holy Spirit is our guarantee. He fills our hearts with a new kind of love that He pours into our hearts (Rom. 5:5).
This love is best defined in 1 Corinthians 13: 4–8: “Agape Love is patient and kind; it is not arrogant or rude. Agape Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not keep a record of wrongs, but rejoices in the right. Agape Love bears all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Agape Love never ends.”
Both the woman and her husband invited Jesus to be their Saviour and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and received the “marriage guarantee”. On their 10th Anniversary she reported to me, “We’re still in our honeymoon.” Another woman whom I married with her husband 5 years ago here in Orangeville, ON, stopped me recently, in the Walmart Store and said, “Do you remember me?” Before I could answer her, she continued, “We are still on our honeymoon, just like you said and we have two children now! Thanks, again from my husband and me! The guarantee is still working!” See our book, “The Forgotten Key to Christian Marriage" and for all marriages!
In the “Parable of the Friend Who asked his neighbour who kept asking for help at midnight for his friend, because of his persistence, his neighbour got up and gave him what he needed. Well, our God is like that, He will give us what we need if we keep on “asking, seeking and knocking”. He likes people who will not take “NO” for a final answer because that’s what He is like. He reminds us, “If you then, who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father gives the Holy Spirit and good gifts  to those who ask Him.” (Matt. 7:11)
This is the reason why we can invite you to send your needs: personal, family, acquaintances, friends for salvation, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, church needs to us, so we can pray for you and your requests and contact me. Please let us know when Jesus has met your needs (Philip. 4:19) so we can also thank Him along with you.
Gordon wants you to be Jesus’ sheep flock who when we stand before Jesus in Judgement will be welcomed into the New Jerusalem because Jesus will say, “Come O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me”….”Truly, truly, I say to you, as you did it for one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” And those who do not look after such people will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life”.
Because of your financial support, we have never refused people who need help. Jesus sends needy people to us in order to test our ministry. These “helping miracles” are often overlooked as being “signs, wonders and miracles” which confirm the preaching of the Gospel.
Remember that your monthly support allows Gordon to accept invitations in any church, small or large in any town or city in Canada, the USA or other country.  So keep on being a “Cheerful Giver” so we can increase our ministry. Please pray and ask Jesus what you should do.  Also please continue to pray for Gordon’s healing of a blood clot in his left leg which developed in his left leg due to the recent car accident which has restricted his traveling to do ministry.

At our meeting in Grafton, ON, where Gordon was doing teaching on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we saw people receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. A woman in her 70’s explained, “I have desired to receive the Holy Spirit for a long time!” We prayed with the laying on of hands and she easily began to speak in tongues (Acts 19:6). A married couple came holding hands and explained, “We both want to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. As I laid hands on both of them, they received the Holy Spirit and both were speaking in tongues. A woman in her 30’s said, “The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the reason why I came here” We prayed and much to her surprise and everybody, she burst out loudly like an explosion speaking in her new tongues language. Each new tongues language message (Mk. 16:17) was interpreted (1 Cor. 12:10).

I received a telephone call from our friend, Rodrigo Garcia in Quito, Ecuador. He recently was reacquainted with an old friend whom he had not seen in 15 years. His friend had received Salvation. He shared his testimony about the necessity of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as Jesus told us so he could be “born-again with water and the Holy Spirit” (Jn. 3: 3, 5, 7). His friend wanted to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit just as the believers did on the Day of Pentecost with the evidence of speaking in their tongues languages (Acts 2:4). He asked if I could go on Skype to meet him and pray with him to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so he could be a complete Christian with the proof of the “Signs” (Mk. 16: 17–18). We prayed & he was Baptized with the Holy Spirit and received his new tongues language.
In the Victory Church in Swift Current, a group of women in their 70’s came for prayer. The first woman explained, “I want to speak in tongues.” We prayed for her and her prayer was answered as she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Another woman in her 70’s who was with her, said, “I want to speak in tongues too!” We prayed and she was Baptized with the Holy Spirit and fell to the floor beside her friend speaking in tongues. Another woman in their group in her 70’s also asked, “I’ve always wanted to speak in tongues but I can’t”. We prayed and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and began to speak in her long desired tongues. Another woman in her 70’s told me, “You prayed with me about 20 years ago in Rosetown for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and I spoke in tongues that night but I haven’t been able to do so since then.” I explained to her that we were going “to stir up the gift” (2 Tim. 1: 6) which she had received with the laying on of my hands. She did, as we prayed, she began to speak in tongues as she fell to the floor.
At our Welland, ON, House Meeting, a 65 year old woman said, “At the last meeting, I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the proof of speaking in tongues (Mk. 16: 17). But, I have a demon too.” I explained, “No! When you receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, there is no room inside of you to have a demon.” I asked, “What have you been told?” “I am being told that I cannot sin in secret.” I explained, “That’s the Holy Spirit talking to you. His responsibility is to “convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment” (Jn.16:8). This means that all of us who have been Baptized with the Holy Spirit or not Baptized with the Holy Spirit and who blame the Holy Spirit for the works of demons (Jn. 8: 48) are in danger of “blaspheming the Holy Spirit” (Mk. 3: 29–30). I explained that many people who do not know the Scriptures make that mistake. She repented and “stirred up the Gift of Tongues” (2 Tim. 1:6–7).
At a meeting in Athabasca, AB, a teenage girl asked, “How important is it to speak in tongues?” I explained that it is very important so that Jesus could guide us in what we do and say. She said with a smile, “I thought you would say something like that.” We prayed and as she was Baptized with the Holy Spirit she easily began to speak in tongues. A 17 year old teenage boy, explained, “I need to get back with the Lord. I’ve done some things that I’m ashamed of.” He repented and was renewed in the Holy Spirit as he fell to the floor speaking in tongues (1 Jn. 1:9).
