Most people who read the New Testament are amazed at Jesus' ministry of His “signs, wonders and miracles.” They are even more astonished when they find out that His first disciples also did the same kind of ministry (Mk. 16:20).
And even more incredible, is when we truly understand that Jesus wants every one of us to be able to do His "signs, wonders and miracles" as well. Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater than these will he do, because I go to the Father” (Jn. 14:12).
I remember as a new Christian, it was beyond my own thinking that I could ever do the same works/ministry as Jesus. No doubt you probably had similar thoughts. But to clarify "by greater works," He does not mean different works (1 Cor. 4:6), but more of the same works: “the signs, wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will..." (Heb. 2:4).
Jesus tells us that after we receive forgiveness for our sin (Salvation) and the authentic Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), we too can do the same ministry as He did. There is no waiting period, and once we are equipped, we are ready to minister under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Gordon continues to do the "greater works of Jesus" and receives invitations from all over Canada, the United States and other countries. Because of your faithfulness to financially contribute to our ministry, he does not charge fees to these churches or ministries that invite him, regardless of their size. Like the Apostle Paul, Gordon is led by the Holy Spirit, and asks for a love offering gift to allow him to continue to accept invitations anywhere in the world.
All offerings and gifts are income tax deductible. Income tax receipts are sent out during February 2018. Throughout 2017, help us to increase the harvest of people of all ages into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 4:35).
