MONTHLY MINISTRY REPORT
The Work of the Holy Spirit
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, MARCH 2017

“YOUR PARTNERSHIP HELPS US TO SHARE THE GOSPEL” (MK. 16:15-20)
During the past eight weeks, we have received a number of phone calls and emails from people who are looking for a Church where they can find the "signs, wonders and miracles" of Jesus. Paul best described this ministry when he wrote, “It was declared first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him, while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will” (Heb. 2:3–4).

One lady who called me explained that she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit twenty two years ago with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. Since then, she has never found a church to attend that was also guided by the Holy Spirit - she wasn’t even sure that her tongues language was real.

I asked her to pray in the language that she had received; and I immediately was able to interpret the message. She was encouraged to learn in fact that she had received the “signs following."

"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)"

Because of your prayer and partnership, we are able to continue to help all those who ask to receive ministry and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

With your monthly support, we can continue to accept invitations to any church, small or large in any town or city in Canada, USA or in any other country. Thank you for your generosity which has resulted in many Salvations, baptisms of the Holy Spirit, healings, deliverances, and answers to prayer. Your donations allow Gordon the freedom to go where Jesus leads him. Please continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7) and help us increase our ministry. Please pray and ask Jesus what you should do to help.

“THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDES US IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS” (JN. 16:7–15)
Recently a man in his 60’s explained, that because he could neither read or write, he was told he would lose his Salvation. As it stands, most Christians in the world today cannot read or write. When we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, He tel
ls us what Jesus wants us to do in all situations (Jn. 5:39–40). The man agreed and we prayed together to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He began to speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit enabled him (Mk. 16:17–18). Amen!

“WE CAN MINISTER TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS” (MK. 16:17)
Dr. Brent McLaughlin, Pastor and Veterinarian shared: “I left the house church in Fenelon Falls on an emergency call to look at a calf that was less than 24 hours old; and who was having trouble nursing its mother. In order to ensure survival of the calf, it needed it’s mother’s first milk. The mother cow was very nervous, erratic and continuously spun around the pen.

I immediately suspected evil spirits causing the animal’s agitation. The farmer had accepted the work of the Holy Spirit before on his farm, so I requested that we pray and ask Jesus for help. Upon praying, I commanded any unclean spirits to leave and go to the abyss (Lk. 8:31). Finally, I was able to restrain the cow, and she became calm allowing the calf to nurse effectively.

As a backup, I had a tranquilizer prepared for her, but clearly the Holy Spirit fixed the problem without the need for medication. The calf and cow appeared peaceful and healthy again, and even the farmer seemed more peaceful - he was pleased with the outcome. Praise the Lord for my calling! Amen.”

“THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN RESOLVE ALL OUR DIFFERENCES ” (JN. 16:13)
Recently the Lord brought to memory a couple who I had previously ministered to in a Church in New Brunswick. This couple came to have prayer for their son who had been saved, but had turned his back on Jesus.

I asked them if they had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit yet. The woman replied, “I have a difference of opinion about that! I have been taught that tongues is not for today, and I continue to question it!”

“Let’s set aside our difference of opinions and ask Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Spirit despite your unbelief?” I remarked. She agreed!

Then I asked her husband if he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit yet. He replied, “No.” I explained that they both needed to have the Holy Spirit with the "signs following (Mark 16:17-18)."

Tongues is a real language spoken either today or in the past, and is used when we pray to obtain guidance from the Holy Spirit. I told them how Jesus' blessing is upon their son because of what Paul tells us: “The goodness of God leads a man to repentance” (Rom. 2:4).

We prayed together and they both received the baptism of the Holy Spirit; and both prayed fluently in their new tongues language while the Lord gave me the interpretation.

Then suddenly the lady stopped and said, “I can’t speak in tongues!” I reassured her, “You have been speaking in tongues for one and a half minutes; and I just gave you the interpretation (1 Cor. 12:10). “I thought that I was just making it up,” she uttered. I explained, “Yes, and the Holy Spirit took what you thought you were making up, and turned it into tongues.”

She said, “I had no idea, it would be that easy!” Then we prayed and ask Jesus to send people to witness to their son. And He did!” Amen.

“THE PLACE WAS SHAKING... AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT” (ACTS 4:31)
The last time I was in Ecuador, I was invited by my interpreter Rodrigo’s friend to meet with three people who desired to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. While praying with them, suddenly an earthquake began to shake the house furiously and in
the midst of the shaking, all three began to speak in tongues! Surprisingly, nothing in the house seemed to have been damaged.

One of them asked, “Does God do that every time you pray for people to receive the Holy Spirit?” I remarked, “Only when necessary!”

“HOLY SPIRIT HEART PALPITATIONS” (2 TIM. 1:6–7)
At the Prayer Palace, Toronto Ontario, a man in his 60’s explained, “I keep having heart palpitations, and every time my doctor tests my heart, he tells me everything is okay!”

I asked him, “Have you ever received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues?” He answered, “Yes, I've received when you have been here to do ministry before.”

“Do you pray in tongues every day?" I questioned him. He said, “No! I didn’t know that I was supposed to!”

I shared with him what Paul wrote: “Pray in the Spirit about everything with prayer and supplication” (Eph. 6:18). When we don’t, the Holy Spirit engages us and causes what I call “Holy Spirit Palpitations”.

He remarked, “Then my doctor was right; my heart is okay!” I explained to him that Timothy had a similar problem that caused him to be paralyzed with fear instead. In the bible, Paul states:

“Hence I remind you to stir up the Gift (tongues) which you received with the laying on of my hands; for God has not given us a spirit of fear but a Spirit of power, love and a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:6–7).

I've often found that physical symptoms arise when we refuse to pray in the Spirit (tongues) daily. In this way, the Holy Spirit gets our full attention when necessary (Jn. 16:17–15).

“MAKE PRAYER THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE.” (EPH. 6:18)
Send in your prayer requests: personal, family, friends, enemies, acquaintances, salvation, healing, deliverance, business, church; or whatever your needs are so that we can pray for you and your requests (Philip. 4:19). Let us know when Jesus answers your prayer so we can thank Him along with you (Lk. 16:16).

If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me. Many blessings to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

People who really know Jesus, have a deep desire for others to know Him as they do. They have no greater joy than sharing their faith with anyone who is open to listen.

This desire is part of a "normal" personal relationship with Jesus.

Jesus' "great commission" is to "go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." But Jesus went on warning us that, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe, will be condemned" (Mark 16:15-16).

It is "normal" for a Christian who has a relationship with Jesus, to be excited about telling someone something about themselves that will lead them to believing in Jesus also.

That excitement, however, is tempered by the awful knowledge of what will happen to someone who doesn't want to believe and accept Jesus.

The power to witness comes with the infilling or baptism of the Holy Spirit. As outlined in Acts 1:8 - "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit (Ghost) comes on you; and you will be my witnesses... to the ends of the earth."

Christians tend to grow tired and weary when they try to witness on their own strength, and not in the power of the Holy Spirit. The power to witness can be the ability to be bold; to be assertive; to have wisdom; to quote the right scriptures and to have the confidence that Jesus will impart the words of what to say when we need them, "...for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said" (John 12:12).

Bob Davisson, the owner of McDonalds Restaurant in Swift Current, Saskatchewan had cancerous tumors in his lungs and he was dying. I first met him at a Full Gospel businessmen's meeting where I was the guest speaker.

Bob was desperate - he had been trying to figure out a way to commit suicide, and have it look like an accident so that his family would be able to collect his life insurance.

However, God had a different plan in mind (Proverbs 16:9 ), and Bob's life turned around for the good the night he allowed his friends to bring him to our meeting for prayer.

I initially learned about his problem while he stood in the prayer line at the front. I remember how I assured him that Dr. Jesus is "no respecter of persons" and that he can heal anyone - including him (Acts 10:34-35).

First I prayed with Bob for his Salvation, then for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and finally, for his healing of the cancer. He then immediately fell to the floor, slain in the spirit, and the Holy Spirit came upon him in a mighty way. After some time later, he got up and left unnoticed.

Later I heard that he had gone for tests to the hospital in Regina that following week. After the first set of tests, the doctors told him they wanted to do a second battery of chemo on him.

With enormous apprehension and thinking that the cancer had progressed, Bob agreed and took the second set of tests.

The doctors met with Bob after the tests, and shook their heads in disbelief when they told him that all the tumors had disappeared! There was no longer any sign of cancer anywhere! Praise the Lord!

Bob was stunned and overjoyed all at once with the news. He realized that Dr. Jesus had in fact healed him!

Overwhelmed with gratitude for his new Savior Jesus, he shared his story with everyone - telling others of what Jesus did for him.

Today it doesn't matter where Bob is - whether on the street, in his restaurant, behind the church pulpit, where ever an opportunity exists, he talks to people about God's grace and goodness.

His favorite line is, "Whatever Jesus did for me, he can do for you too!" A powerful testimony and witness for Jesus.
