MONTHLY MINISTRY REPORT
WE ARE LIKE WELLS OF LIVING WATERS
REVEREND GORDON WILLIAMS, MAY 2017

“YOUR PARTNERSHIP ALLOWS US TO BE ‘A SPRING OF LIVING WATERS'” (JN. 14:13-14)
When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well, she was shocked when He had asked her to give him a drink of water (Jn. 4:7). She was shocked because the Jews and Samaritan were enemies and at war. What this women didn’t understand, is just like today, we need not to be impartial; we need to engage in open discussions with all Samaritans; with people coming from other countries who don't know Jesus Christ personally as their Saviour and Lord; who complain about being sick and tired of living; their lives have no real meaning or purpose – and especially those who are involved in religions that worship gods that are not gods (1 Cor. 10:20).

We who have received the “living water," (the Holy Spirit) are intended to become the “wells of living water”. The Holy Spirit represents the "living water" and assures believers of eternal life. Our purpose as “wells of living water," is to offer a "drink of the living water" (the Holy Spirit) to people we don't know; to strangers, just as Jesus did. He ministered to the woman at the well: salvation, healing, grace and guidance. When we take up our cross daily, and model after what Jesus did at the well, salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit can come to all people we pray and minister to.

Your prayers and partnership allow Gordon to freely accept invitations from any church in Canada, the U.S.A, or other countries, regardless of their size, and without charging fees. Thank you so much for your generosity. Our ministry is like a "spring of living waters" that flows continuously; resulting in numerous Salvations, Baptisms of the Holy Spirit, healings, deliverances and many answers to prayer. Because of your faithfulness, Gordon has the freedom to go where ever Jesus leads him.

Also, as a result of your faithful donations, we continue to see more ministry than ever before. Please continue to be a “cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7) and prayerfully ask Jesus how you can contribute.

Throughout 2017, help us to increase the harvest of all people into the Kingdom of God (Jn. 4:35) like never before. Amen!

“THE HOLY SPIRIT ONLY HAS ONE LEVEL" (ACT 2:4)
At a meeting in St. Catharines, Ontario, a man came for prayer and asked, “Can you pray with me so I can have the second and third level of the Holy Spirit? I want to expand my ministry.”

"There is only one level of the Holy Spirit," I replied. I explained to him that he had received some wrong teaching regarding Elijah and Elisha, where Elisha had asked for a double portion of the Spirit:

"And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me” (2 Kings 2:9).

I also pointed out that scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit is not given by measure and/or by levels:

"For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure." (Jn. 3:34).

Also, that he had to learn to use what the Holy Spirit had already given him to do ministry (1 Cor. 12:11), referring to the “signs following:"

"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”  (Mk. 16:17–18)

Then I prayed with him and asked Jesus to “stir up the spiritual gift/gifts he had already received” (2 Tim. 1:6–7). He received a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit and he spoke in his tongues language.

We need to know that there is no partiality with Jesus; there is only one level for all of us - to be “filled with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:4). Amen.

“ANOTHER WHOSOEVER WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE!” (ACTS 2:2l)
A woman in her 50’s explained, “I go to a church where my pastor told me that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is not for today.”

I answered, "Your pastor is wrong because he knows neither the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matt. 22:29).
Peter said, “whosoever calls on the name of the Lord” can be saved and receive the "gift of the Holy Spirit". Jesus also said, "they will be my witnesses in all the earth and speak in new tongues” (Mk. 16:17).

I asked, “Do you want to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the proof of speaking in tongues?” “Oh, yes, please!" she answered. She prayed along with me, and received the Holy Spirit just as Jesus promises those who ask - her tongues flowed effortlessly, and she spoke fluently as if she had learned it as a child.

Later, she confessed, “My pastor was wrong! The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for today!” I rejoiced with her; then again, I suggested that she change her church to one that worshiped in the power and Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

“NOW SHE WAS READY TO FULFILL HER CALL!” (ACTS 19:6)
At a meeting at Curve Lake, Ontario, a woman in her 40’s asked, “Does God call women to be pastors?” I said, “Oh course He does!” She told me that the people in her church say that He doesn’t .

I replied, “Well... they need to read their bible a little more carefully: On the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1–21) Paul tells us, “There is neither…. male nor female….for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28). That means gender cannot hold you back from becoming a pastor.

I suggested to her that if her church won't allow her to fulfill God's call on her life, then it's time to go find one where she could. Also I invited her to call me if she needed further guidance.

"Have you received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit so you can be equipped to do ministry?” I asked her. She said, “No, I haven’t, but I would like to,” she replied excitedly.

We prayed together; she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and then fell to the floor speaking in her new tongues language. She had not been spiritually prepared to be a Pastor until now. Receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is God's way of equipping the saints for ministry. Now she is ready!

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen". (Matt. 28:19-20)

“MAN RECEIVES MIRACLE HEALING!” (1 PET. 2:24)
A 65 year old man, whom I knew from the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (F.G.B.M.F.I) explained, "My health is not good! I’m on dialysis because my kidneys are only functioning at 20 percent, and I have a bad heart.”

We prayed together asking Jesus to stir up his tongues (2 Tim. 1:6–7), and to heal him. During our prayer, the Holy Spirit came upon him, and he fell to the floor speaking in tongues.

For over an hour, he tried several times to get up, but he couldn’t - the Holy Spirit was not finished with him yet. When he finally stood up, he proclaimed, “I haven’t felt this good for years!” Thank you Jesus!

Days later, he went to see his doctor who confirmed that he had received a healing miracle! Amen.

DAUGHTER AND MOTHER RECEIVE THEIR SPIRITUAL LANGUAGES (MK. 16:17)
At the Pentecostal Church in Kingsville, Ontario, a lady from Ethiopia, came to the alter together with her 8 year old daughter for prayer. She said, “I would like my daughter to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.”

So, I got down on my knees to speak face to face with her little girl and asked, “Would you like to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and speak in a new tongues language?” She agreed.

I asked her, “What languages do you speak now?” She smiled and said, “English and Amharic (Ethiopian).” "Wonderful! When I pray with you, do not speak in either one of those languages," I instructed her. “Alright,” she answered politely. We prayed together, and she fell to the floor. Slowly, she began to speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit enabled her.

Then, her mother who witnessed her young daughter speaking in tongues, also asked to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. She too, fell to the floor next to her daughter, speaking in her new tongues language. What a blessing!

Jesus teaches us that, " Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe” (Jn 4:48).

“VOICE RESTORED FROM  BEING STRANGLED ” (1 PET. 2:24)
In our service in Cranbrook, British Columbia, a woman whose throat had been damaged 20 years ago came to the alter give her testimony. She explained that her husband had tried to strangle her, and as a result, she felt like she was choking off and on throughout the day.

"Miraculously," she said, “at one of your previous meetings, my throat was totally healed the moment I received prayer for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit - I spoke out in tongues!"

TEENAGER EXCLAIMS, "WOW! THIS IS FANTASTIC!” (ACTS 2:4)
During ministry at the Prayer Palace, Toronto, Ontario, a 17 year old teenager said, “Pastor, I’m saved, but I’ve never been baptized with the Holy Spirit.” We prayed together; he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and with ease he spoke out in his new tongues language. (Mk. 16:17–18). A few minutes later, he paused, acknowledging what had just happened to him. He was thrilled with his new gift, and excitedly he exclaimed, “WOW! This is fantastic!” Then he continued praying out loud in tongues! Amen.

“PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, GIVING THANKS FOR ALL THINGS” (1 THESS. 5:16-18)
Continue to send in your prayer requests for personal matters, family, friends, finances, acquaintances, salvation, healing, deliverance, business, church; or whatever your needs are so that we can lift you up in prayer (Philip. 4:19). Let us know when Jesus answers your prayer so we can rejoice and thank Him along with you (Lk. 16:16). Amen!

If you, your family and/or friends would like to receive either Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Gift of the Holy Spirit, Healing, Deliverance, etc., I invite you come to one of our house meetings or contact me. Easter blessings to you and your family!

Yours in Jesus,

We need God's power for effective service and ministry towards others - especially those who are called to to be Evangelists, Pastors, Christian teachers and leaders.

When Jesus gave His Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), He knew that His disciples could not fulfill it in their own power.

Therefore, He had a special plan to give them the same power that He had - the power of the Holy Spirit.

Just after Jesus gave His disciples the Great Commission, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father promised, "which," He said, "you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now" (Acts 1:4-5).

He further promised: "You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).

Jesus' final instruction to His disciples was to go out into all the world and preach the gospel (do ministry) in the power of the Holy Spirit:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:15-18)

We are saved by grace through faith to do the good works of Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit, the same spirit that created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:2), dwells within every believer who has been Baptized by the Holy Spirit (Jn. 14:17)...

Where can I find a good church? In the New Testament Greek, there are two words for 'good'. One (kalos) means 'morally good, noble, praiseworthy, leading to salvation'.  The other (agathos) refers to the 'perfection of God, things of the Holy Spirit.'

A good Christian church is where people can receive salvation and the perfection of God, including the Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and prayer for needs with the 'signs  following' to confirm the preaching (Mk. 16:17-20).

A good church is a place where miracles happen at every service. Julie Lyons, a reporter for a Dallas Newspaper, went out to find a church where a minister would pray for crack-cocaine addicts, and where people were being healed. She describes in her book, "Holy Roller", how she found only one. Although it was "scruffy-looking", she made it her church home after receiving ministry and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit...

"For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you..." (Romans 1:8-17).

The church in Rome had a good reputation, and so Paul wanted to go and visit those believers and have fellowship with them.

He prayed for them, "without ceasing," that God might let him visit them. It was his desire to impart some spiritual gifts to them.

This is a ministry that many of us have. We pray with people not only for salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but for the "spiritual gifts"  (charismatic gifts) that Paul mentions later in (Romans 12:6-8; and 1st Corinthians 12:8-10).

This "ministry of gifting" equips the saints for ministry with each other and with unbelievers.

Why must we speak in Tongues?

A young woman asked me at a meeting recently, “Why is it necessary to speak in tongues?” It is the one question that keeps coming up over and over again.

My first words were, "because it is the most effective way to speak and hear from God." It is His communication system, as directed by the Holy Spirit” (Mk. 16:17; 1 Cor. 12:10).
