“KEEP IT SIMPLE SAINTS” (LK. 11:1-13)
Jesus’ disciples asked Him, “Lord, teach us to pray.” They thought that Jesus didn’t pray as effectively or good as John did. Jesus prayers were too simple, too short. He didn’t spend a lot of time praying. They didn’t realize that since Jesus was “God in the flesh” (Jn. 1:14), every time they talked to Him, that was prayer.

He didn’t spend a lot of time praying. They didn’t realize that since Jesus was “God in the flesh” (Jn. 1:14), every time they talked to Him, that was prayer.
Today we see people making prayer a competition. They try to out-pray other Christians both in english and in tongues. In a prayer group or when praying with other people, and the tongues is longer than the English, there is danger of being hypocrites (Matt. 6:5).
Prayer should be as simple as asking a neighbor for some bread. This is why we invite you to email your prayer requests: family, friends, church, etc., for salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and personal needs. (Philip. 4:19) Also please contact us with your praise reports when Jesus has met your needs so we can also thank Him along with you!
“RUN THE RACE WITH GORDON DURING 2016” (HEB. 12:1)
Paul compared the Christian Life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to running a race. I have a friend, Dr. Derek Duvall, who after Jesus healed his back and was Baptized with the Holy Spirit. Since then, he has successfully completed the most difficult of all races, the “Ironman Race” for the 40th time. Paul tells us that serving Jesus is like running most important and grueling race with perseverance. Jesus never said that following God’s plan was easy. He said, “If any man would follow me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Lk. 9:23)

As a young woman once said, “That’s an invitation to get killed?” Yes, but “the Jesus’ race” is the most exciting race of all races because the winning line is at the gates of the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:12-21; 22:13). And that is what preaching the gospel and witnessing and evangelism and serving Jesus with perseverance is all about. The race is empowered by the Holy Spirit and confirmed by “the Holy Spirit” with “signs, wonders and miracles” (Mk. 16:15–20; Heb. 2:4). Gordon invites you join “Jesus’ race team” by becoming “race partners” who through prayer and financial offerings we can bring many people to join the “great multitude which no man could number” before God’s throne (Rev. 7:9–17). And also, remember, your prayer opens the doors for Gordon to lead people to Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, healing, deliverance and to meet their needs. (Philip. 4:19)

“THE MIRACLE OF DELIVERANCE, SALVATION & BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” (MK. 16:17–20)
I received a call from a woman who was in the hospital and was told by her doctor that she did not have long to live. Her esophagus had closed up so she couldn’t eat and her lungs were not functioning very well and she was attached to an oxygen tank. She had lost a lot of weight. She explained, “I have been harassed and possessed with a demon for many years. She was a Born-again Christian and had prayer many times to have the evil spirit leave her but it did not leave. She talked to her pastor who told her that Christians could not be possessed. She was left hopeless!

I explained that the only way I could cast out the demon was for her to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and receive the “gift of speaking in tongues”. She had one pastor pray with her but she did not receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I told her, “Today, you will not be disappointed!” She agreed. I cast the demon out of her and sent it to the abyss (Lk. 8:31).
Then I laid hands on her and prayed asking Jesus to forgive her and Baptize her with the Holy Spirit. She immediately began to speak in tongues (Acts 2:4) and I prayed for her healing (Mk. 16:17). She came to our house church. She was now walking without any problem. She explained that her esophagus had opened up and she was eating and had gained 6 pounds in 5 days. She was now able to walk up and down stairs with no difficulty. The pastor was wrong when he told her that a Christian could not be possessed by demons.
Only a Christian who has received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues cannot be possessed. Any so-called Born Again Christian or anybody else, who has not received the authentic Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the Signs (Mk. 16:17–18) “is “possess-able!" (Acts 19:13–17) Jesus’ promise is “is always yes” (2 Cor. 1:19).
“JESUS CONTINUES TO FULLFIL HIS PROMISES” (LK. 11:9–13)
I received a letter from a man who came to our Welland, ON Meeting. He wrote,”I just had to tell you what I experienced when you prayed for me in January. As I fell under the power and blessings of the Lord, and as I laid on the floor, I envisioned the Lord’s hands holding the whole area of my pain. The Lord’s hands were so soft and warm and peaceful. And, the pain left!

Sunday was a day we will never forget….my husband and I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. There are no words to describe the joy we felt as we witnessed our youngest son and his partner invite the Holy Spirit into their lives too. We have all noticed a ‘difference” in how we react to things….how much more there is to being a Christian…It is truly awesome!
“THE MIRACLE OF TWO PERFECT PINK TOES” (MATT. 18-19)
A woman in Sault Ste Marie was hospitalized because her body had been infected with bacteria in her blood from infection in her feet. The doctor was going to amputate two or possibly three toes. She needed a miracle! Her friend wrote me a letter to ask God for a miracle. After praying with her on the telephone, the doctor, who does not believe that God will heal the infected toes, examined her feet. He used a scalpel to cut off the black covering which easily dropped off revealing perfect pink toes! As her friend explained, “Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after three days these two small toes are a piece of cake for the Lord to heal her. ”With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God” (Mk. 10:27).
“THE MIRACLE OF HEALED KIDNEYS” (PS. 103:3; 1 COR. 12:9)
A pastor called on the telephone from Alberta. He explained, “I am really sick. My kidneys are not functioning. My doctor told me that I needed to prepare myself to die. I had to give up my ministry. I don’t want to die because I’m not finished with my ministry. I have a wonderful wife and children and grandchildren.” I reminded him, “Jesus is still in the healing business!
So I want you to pray along with me in tongues while I am praying for you because Paul tells us that when we pray continuously in both our native languages and tongues we get edified (1 Cor. 14:4). The Greek word for “edification” means “healing for the person who prays in the tongues language (Acts 2:4; Mk. 16:17) which we receive when we are Baptized with the Holy Spirit. He agreed and we prayed asking Jesus for a healing miracle for his kidneys. He called me back a few weeks later to exclaim, “I have recovered my call to do ministry because Jesus has healed me. Praise the Lord!”
“THE HOLY SPIRIT IS FANTASTIC” (1 PET. 1:8)
A Chinese Student who is studying at York University, Toronto ON was referred to me by Christian friends who witnessed to him about Jesus and prayed with him for Salvation. He wanted to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues. We met at Tim Horton, where we prayed for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and he began to speak in tongues (Acts 19:6; Mk. 16:17–18). With tears, he said, “Now I can return to China and be Jesus’s witness. This is fantastic!”
“SHE GOT ‘IT ALL" (ACTS 19:6–7)
At a Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship (FGBMFI) meeting in Owen Sound, I asked a woman in her 30’s, “What would you like to have prayer for?” She said, “I need it all!” I asked, “What is ‘it all’?” She said, “Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues?” She received forgiveness for her sin and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fell to the floor speaking in her new tongues language (Acts 2:4).
